Licensed Mental Health Counselor
About Me
Hi! I’m Raquisha Bing, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I approach therapy with compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental heart. I truly believe that the answers that we seek are already within us and sometimes, we just need a little support to uncover them. My goal is to help you reconnect with your own strength, trust your inner wisdom, and build confidence in your ability to grow and heal. I know healing isn’t always a straight path. It takes time, patience, and grace — and that’s okay. I’m here to walk alongside you through the ups and downs, even when it feels like you're too tired to keep going. I like being a cheerleader for others and believe in celebrating the small wins, because over time, they lead to big transformations.
I'm a proud mom of one. I have a deep love for science, history, and art — and I'm always eager to explore new ideas, places, and experiences. Curiosity is a big part of who I am, and I approach life with an open mind and a willingness to grow. Whether I'm trying something for the first time, or going on an adventure, I find joy in discovery. I'm also drawn to spiritualism and believe in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Life, to me, is about connection, exploration, and living your most authentic life.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent seven years working in Human Resources. After earning my master’s degree from Bellevue University, I began working with children, teens, and adults from a wide range of backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and military communities. Although I have worked with various ages I'm currently only accepting adult clients. I’ve also worked in inpatient settings, supporting individuals navigating serious mental health crises.
I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Hypnosis. Additionally I use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs — including Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Holistic Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Psychoeducation and Attachment-Based Therapy.
At the heart of it all, I’m here to create a safe space for you to show up exactly as you are — and to support you as you move toward where you want to be.
